The purchaser of any photographs of the Youth Olympic Game Lausanne 2020 available on the website https://store.karimkanoun.com/ (“the Website”) of Karim Kanoun (“the Photographer”) acknowledges and agrees :
- That the purchased photograph(s) shall only be used for bona fide news services and for still photographic editorial purposes only and shall not be used for advertising or any other commercial or promotional purpose, in any manner or format, media or technology, whether now existing or created in the future.
- That any use of still images which simulates that of moving imagery, such as gif animations, is strictly prohibited.
- That the Photographer expressly disclaims any liability of any kind arising directly or indirectly from any use of the purchased photograph(s) contrary to the Olympic Charter and all other guidelines issued by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), including, without limitation, the “IOC Guidelines for Editorial Use of the Olympic Properties by Media Organisations”, available on Olympic.org and as updated from time to time.
- That purchase of photograph(s) entitles the purchaser to the ownership of the image but not to the copyrights of the image which still remain with the Photographer even after purchase.
- That the Photographer processes the purchaser’s personal data provided through the Website for the purpose of the photograph purchase only. This personal data will not be used nor processed for any other purposes.
- That the Photographer may share the purchaser’s personal data with data processors, in particular website service providers. Such providers are bound with an obligation of confidentiality and are only entitled to use the purchaser’s personal data in accordance with the Photographer’s instructions.
- That the Photographer does not share the purchaser’s personal data to any third parties other than to third party billing providers who will collect and process personal data insofar as it is necessary to process the payment for the purchase of photograph(s).
- That the Photographer is committed to ensure the best possible level of security of the purchaser’s personal data, and shall take all appropriate measures to protect personal data against the risk of loss, damage or misuse. However, Internet is an open network and the Photographer cannot guarantee that unauthorised third parties will be not able to access data and to use it for illicit purposes.
